Evie Marheineke, a sophomore at Archbishop Mitty High in California, won the girls varsity medium school race at the 43rd ASICS Clovis Invitational by eding Kylie Hoornaert of Prospect on the 5-kilometer course by an 18:16.6 to 18:16.7 margin at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Archbishop Mitty was sixth with 220 points.
